Big Changes for Facilitated Review Session (FRS)
What are FRS?
Facilitated Review Sessions (FRS) are an optional component of the Real Estate Salesperson Program for learners who are looking for a live and interactive guided review of complex topics of study within Courses 2, 3 and/or 4.
What has Changed?
Effective Nov 17, 2023, learners are able to take the FRS as a standalone course. This allows learners to take the course if and when they feel they will benefit from them the most. Previously, facilitated review sessions could only be taken if purchased as a package with the associated eLearning course. Separating the FRS from the eLearning course allows learners to enroll in the standalone FRS after they complete their eLearning as additional support in preparation for their exam.
How is FRS Delivered?
FRS sessions are delivered synchronously (real-time) within the virtual classroom. Learners will need a Zoom account, webcam and microphone to participate in FRS activities. FRS sessions are designed to give learners the opportunity to explore and discuss complex eLearning course topics with their peers and facilitator. Learners will have the opportunity to ask questions and enjoy real-time discussions which many learners find very helpful.

Now Available! Online Registration for In-Person Simulation Assessment
You can now choose to complete your Simulation Session Assessment either in-person at a test center or through a virtually proctored session. When registering for a Simulation Session, an extra step in the registration process will allow you to choose the assessment (exam) delivery method. The interactive facilitated component of Simulation Sessions will continue to be delivered online. The Simulation Session assessment booking process will be familiar to you as it follows the same steps as booking a course exam. You now have more choice on when and how you can take your Simulation Session assessment.
A few points to keep in mind regarding the new process:
Click the Book Exam button during the checkout process to reserve your assessment seat.
A 7-day date range is provided for the assessment. During the checkout process, you will be prompted to select a location, date, and time for your assessment that falls within this date range.
All virtual exam timeslots and test center locations that are currently available for course exams will also be available to book simulation session assessments. All locations/dates are subject to availability and/or change.
Only available exam/assessment options are displayed during the booking process. If an exam slot is full, or not offered during the simulation exam date range, it will not be displayed.
The selected option is confirmed upon completion of the payment transaction.
In-Person Test Centres
Learners who wish to write their exams/assessments in-person have a growing number of Test Centres across the province from which to choose.
